How do I restore my purchase? Open the app → Profile → "Restore Purchases." Your Pro Lifetime unlocks instantly.

How does "Stories Near You" use my location? Only while that screen is open, and only on your device, to find landmarks within walking distance. Your location is never stored or shared.

How are city stories created? We hand-write our core cities and use AI to generate stories for any other place you search. Generation takes a few seconds and is then cached.

How do I cancel a subscription? Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. (Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase — nothing to cancel.)

CurioTravel is built to collect as little as possible.

• Location: Used only on your device, only while the "Stories Near You" screen is open, to measure distance to nearby landmarks. It is never transmitted to our servers, stored, or shared.
• Search: When you search for a place, the text you type is sent to our mapping provider (Mapbox) to return suggestions. We don't attach your identity.
• Purchases: Payments are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat. We receive whether you have an active purchase — not your payment details.
• No tracking & no ads: We do not track you across apps or sell your data.
